One Day With Cancer

One Day With Cancer

On Daffodil Day 2018, we were honoured to be one of eight production companies around Ireland who got to spend the day with a cancer patient/survivor.  We spent the day in Tipperary following around cancer survivor Noelle Clancy before sitting her down to tell us her experience with cancer and the Irish Cancer Society.

Noelle is from Nenagh, Co Tipperary. After discovering a lump, she was diagnosed with breast cancer just before her 38th birthday. Noelle underwent treatment including a year of taking the breast cancer drug Herceptin before receiving the news that she was cancer free. She credits cancer research as the life saver that led to Herceptin being available as a treatment for her cancer.
