The Cork Airport Runway 5K returned again this year and we were delighted to be asked to film it for the forth year in a row. This is a unique event where Cork Airport shuts down it’s runway to allow a 5K to take place down the middle of the runway at mid-night. In 2018, 2,500 people turned out in the pouring rain to take on the challenge. The event was sponsored by SPAR Ireland and was MC’d by Cork’s 96FM.
